Private prescriptions
If you have been issued a private prescription from your doctor or prescribing healthcare professional, you can have your medication dispensed by postboxpharmacy.co.uk.*
Private Prescription Costs
The the cost of the private prescription depends on the items required. Please call us on 0161 280 0010 for a quote. If you’ve ordered your private prescription and the total cost of your order is over £45, you’ll get free delivery for your medicines. If your order is less than £45 there will be an additional £3.50 charge for delivery.
Private Prescription Delivery
Once you have discussed the costs with our pharmacist, please send your signed NHS or private prescription to:

Please note, we must receive your prescription before we can dispense and send out your medication. Delivery is via Royal Mail to a UK address of your choice and may take 3-5 working days to arrive once we have received your private prescription. Therefore, if you require your prescription medication urgently, please contact your local pharmacy.
This delivery but must be signed for by yourself or a nominated representative over 18 years old.
*As part of our medication dispensing arrangements, we require your consent to contact your prescriber or GP to exchange information regarding your medication or treatment.
